Service Description

In this workshop, you will create a beautiful stained glass sun catcher to take home and display in your favourite sunny window. Using the traditional Tiffany copper foil technique — famously featured in the iconic Tiffany lamps of the late 19th century — you will learn the essential skills needed to craft your own unique piece. This workshop is slightly more advanced than our introductory beginner classes and features a design made up of nine interlocking pieces. You will have the opportunity to choose from a wide selection of coloured and textured glass to personalise your creation. Throughout the day, you will learn how to cut, grind, foil, solder, and apply patina to your stained glass piece, guided step-by-step in a relaxed and supportive environment. The workshop begins at 10:00am and finishes at approximately 4:00pm. A light lunch will be provided. All materials are included, including glass, copper foil, solder, chemicals, and finishing materials —there are no additional costs. Your Suncatcher is approx 20 by 15 cm.
