Service Description

Step into the art of stained glass with this beautifully curated, full-day introductory experience. Designed as a relaxed and inspiring taster session, this workshop offers the perfect opportunity to explore the craft in an intimate, welcoming setting. With no more than four participants at any one time, you will enjoy a highly personalised experience, with guidance and support at every stage. During the day, you will create a delicate glass beaded dragonfly planter. You will be invited to select your own glass for the wings, along with choosing from a curated collection of glass beads to form the dragonfly’s tail allowing you to create a piece that is entirely your own. You will be guided through each step of the process, from cutting and grinding the glass, to copper foiling, before moving on to fluxing, soldering, cleaning, and polishing your finished piece. The day begins at 10:00am and concludes at approximately 4:00pm, allowing you to enjoy the creative process at a comfortable pace. A freshly prepared lunch is provided, along with morning and afternoon tea breaks. All materials are thoughtfully included, from glass and beads to copper foil, solder, and specialist supplies—there are no additional costs. To ensure a calm and considered atmosphere, places are limited to just four participants. For your comfort and safety, we kindly ask that participants wear trainers or closed-toe footwear.
